What Are Jam Tracks?

Jam tracks are songs without vocals or lead guitar, and can be used by musicians to invent and practice solos. Guitar players and other musicians love playing with friends; however, friends are not always available. When friends are available, they are not necessarily going to enjoy playing the same chord progression for hours while the guitarist tries out different solo ideas. A jam track CD enables the musician to practice at their convenience, for as long or as short as they choose, and experiment with every conceivable solo idea.

The CDs offered by bestjamtracks.com were created by experienced and talented musicians with years of jamming experience, and each track is very fun to jam along with. Each song has a suggested list of scales that can be used to construct solos. The “Resources” menu items contains printable scales to help you find the best combination of notes. It is our sincere hope that you’ll have as much fun jamming to these songs as we did in making them!

What our Customers Say...

" Whether it's blues, classic rock, atmospheric rock, or funky Latin grooves, with this CD, guitarists and multi-instrumentalists have a incredible instant rockin backing band to improvise to while refining their skills in a gloriously fun way.
The musicianship on this CD is top notch and the album gives the budding soloist an opportunity to really soar with their instrument in the privacy of their home or on the road. The tracks are varied in styles and long enough for the soloist to really develop and explore their instrument and their inner muse. I highly recommend it." David Helfand - www.davidhelfand.com
